Sunday Blog Blot

Yep, I'm suffering another day of blog blot. Having scoured several daily papers and blogs this morning, I cannot find much I feel like blathering about. To give you an idea of the severity of my condition, the only news item I find interesting is the Nicole Kidman/Keith Urban marriage in
Sydney. Does anyone want to place bets on how long that'll last?





And this one, which is good news, but leaves the U.S. in some very sordid company indeed.

Death penalty abolished in Philippines

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo signed a law abolishing the death penalty Saturday, giving final approval to a measure that divided many Filipinos.
