Feeling a financial pinch?

From the Detroit Free Press , the map shows the percentage change in median household incomes from six years ago:

There are some rather startling statistics in the Detroit Free Press article including:

Almost a third of the state's African Americans lived below the poverty level.

Detroit remained one of the poorest big cities in the country with almost a third of its residents living below the poverty line.


It's an economic Katrina.

But you'd never guess from listening to The Walking Soundbite in Search of a Purpose
pretending to care for the working people.
