I've always been fond of Lady Bird Johnson for her opinions about many environmental things, such as what I heard on NPR today, regarding her disdain for billboards along our nation's highway system. They are truly an eyesore and distract from what should be an unpolluted view of America.
The cause of death was not immediately available.
Being 94 might have been a factor, but whatever. I know all about cause and effect but I won't go into a philosophical diatribe out of respect for our former first lady.
Her wildflowers will continue to bloom.
I never knew her real name was Claudia.
