RIP blackdog

I found out after work tonight that one of my co-bloggers at Big Brass Blog has died today. Brad Turner was his real name and he lived in Arkansas, so we shared that connection since I grew up there.

Since starting my latest job back in July I haven't spent as much time over at BBB as I used to, and I rarely contribute a blog post these days. I hadn't had any exchange of comments with him in quite a while as a result. And that makes the news doubly sad.

Sometimes you just wish you had the opportunity for a proper farewell. Those are rare as it turns out.

Brad was only 53.
