Why Kona Doesn't Visit Wineries

I think some folks watched sideways too many times.

There also are reports of tastings gone wild involving intoxicated visitors who have tossed back full glasses of wine without regard to nose or body until they grabbed the brass spittoon for baser purposes.

The latest additions to local lore include a story about members of an inebriated group at the Palmer Vineyards here who hopped off a hayride and began gallivanting naked through the vines.

Seriously, this is about as tasteless as going to a library to look at porn and have a sex orgy. Although the idea of running naked through the vineyards is pretty natural and respectful.

Evolution #9

For those of you who don't have a clue as to the purpose of either one or both of my posts last night, particularly the latter one, join the club. As I explained to someone at work today, I had just the right amount of tequila, but I drank too many beers.

So tonight I'm mellowing out with this lovely white wine from Oregon which has become one of our favorites.

A Not So Bright Idea, But I'm Glad Somebody Had It

Whose idea was it to open this last night? AFTER we drank half a bottle of tequila?

But, DAMN it was good. Tell me it's hump day. Please.
