You want lime and salt with that shot?

An impossibly upmarket brand of tequila -- 100 percent blue Agave lovingly aged for six years and sold in a limited edition platinum bottle with fancy artwork on the label -- went on sale in Mexico on Thursday night for $225,000 a bottle.

This is outrageous. My advice would be, for anyone who can drop about a quarter of a million on a bottle of tequila, give $224,975 to the poor, and spend the remaining $25 on a bottle of Tres Mujeres Reposado. The artwork isn't fancy, the bottle isn't platinum, but who gives a shit. It's 100% blue Agave and tastes great.

Where I live, the sales tax would be $18,562.50. Jesus H. Christ.
